As with most other Roblox tower defense games, by far the most important stat is a unit’s raw DPS. Higher DPS means quicker and more efficient wave clear.
Higher rarity usually means a stronger unit. With a few exceptions, Secret and Mythic units are the ones you’ll want to use.
Many units provide passive buffs that only activate with specific unit types. e.g. Fire Foot Cook deals 25% increased damage to enemies affected by Burn.
The ability to start damaging enemies early and land hits just before they leave your reach becomes incredibly valuable in tougher late-game stages.
Powerful defensive or offensive passives (AoE, global buffs) can be just as important as raw DPS. Traits like Ruler and Eternal can be vital.
Etherealize up to six copies of the same unit to earn stars. Each star grants additional stats and enhances passive abilities.
Hybrids are units capable of targeting both Air and Ground enemies. Having at least one Hybrid on your team is essential.
The best DPS unit is Jinoo Monarch.
The best support unit is Lulu. However, Virtual Idol is also really, really strong.
Virtual Idol, Spade, Lulu, and Jinoo form a well-rounded and reliable team composition.
If you have duplicate units, you can use them to Etherealize a single unit up to six times. Doing so grants additional stat points and enhances that unit’s passive abilities.
Yes. Fastcart is the best farm unit in UTD, with Namo being good for early game.
